Wall of Chocolate
In Short:
A retail feature made of 120 powder-coated steel boxes, each individually lit with RGBTW LEDs to showcase a curated selection of delicious chocolates. This modular fixture was developed as a brand-new concept for Hotel Chocolat’s first two U.S. locations, each requiring a unique configuration tailored to its store layout.
I was responsible for bringing the fixture to life—refining the original design concept supplied by Heatherwick Studio and translating it into a buildable, functional installation ready for an intense retail environment. My role included prototyping, sourcing all necessary components (from custom lighting to hardware), all fabrication drawings, and leading both the assembly and on-site installation.
This project was completed for Hotel Chocolat, a client of the renowned design studio 555, where I had the privilege of contributing as part of a talented team. Guided by exceptional mentors and collaborative peers, this was a team effort that allowed me to grow and refine my craft within a supportive and inspiring environment.
