Flag Stand - Indianapolis Motor Speedway

In Short:

For the Indianapolis Motor Speedway’s new museum store, I designed a scaled-down version of the iconic racetrack flag stand, created with powder-coated, formed aluminum to ensure a lightweight design for easy overhead installation on an existing I-beam. Beneath the installation, I featured a shelf and clothing rack for merchandise. This custom piece not only honored the Speedway’s heritage but also enhanced the retail experience for visitors.

This project was completed for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, a client of the renowned design studio 555, where I had the privilege of contributing as part of a talented team. Guided by exceptional mentors and collaborative peers, this was a team effort that allowed me to grow and refine my craft within a supportive and inspiring environment.
