Type Packs
In Short:
Type's founder, Abid, had the inspiration, market research, and user feedback for his passion project in designing soft goods for the nursing industry. I served in transforming that information into a tangible product.

Abid envisioned a fanny pack for healthcare workers but was unsatisfied with his initial aesthetic. After seeing my designs, he approached me to refine the concept and, if successful, to create the necessary manufacturing instructions (aka tech pack).
Modern exterior aesthetics to align with Abid's inspirations
Thicker strap for enhanced comfort during long hours of use
More thought-out interior organization ~ elastic strap to hold stethoscope, pocket for reflex hammer, and a middle divider to keep personal and professional items separated
Two quick-access exterior straps for pagers
Large zipper pullers for speed and ease
Versatile double-adjustable strap for waist or cross-body wear
Discreet cord access for a tidy exterior
Refined exterior pen holder for a cleaner look
Larger front pocket to account for larger phones/notepads
Bright interior for improved item visibility

After a fun and successful first round, I designed a smaller, more simplistic fanny pack, a backpack, and some additional colorways for our fanny packs.
